Mission - The Colorado Film Foundation is a charitable educational organization created to support the development, distribution and exhibition of films and other visual media, and is dedicated to increasing communication, understanding, and furthering public awareness through moving images and the media arts.
Exhibition - The Colorado Film Foundation supports the exhibition of independently produced films in cinemas, film and video festivals, museums and smaller venues in Colorado.
To increase the variety of film available to Colorado audiences, we promote screenings of films that might otherwise be unavailable for exhibition.
Reach New Audiences - The Colorado Film Foundation is committed to its distance education strategy of broadening access to material for a wider range of audiences and encourages participation by socially excluded and culturally diverse communities in Colorado and beyond.
DVD titles distributed to schools, institutions and retail outlets help to maximize awareness and expand accessibility to a larger base of students and the general public. DVDs and accompanying supplemental material are created for titles making them ideal for Outreach programs and special educational curriculums.
